PORSCHE 997 TURBO, COMPREHENSIVE DETAIL

This week brought us another extensive detail where our client was seeking that better than new look.

During the consultation we spoke about all the different possibilities for this vehicle to look its best.

Full paint correction to remove unsightly marring and scratches to give a glossy rejuvenated finish.

Our vast range of Mitchell & King bespoke waxes for that ultimate finish and Gtechniq crystal laquer base coat for ultra durability.

We then agreed on an armour coating for both  calipers and wheels so they not only look there best but  have upmost protection against all the elements.

For the windows we selected  a 2yr / 30,000 miles active rain repallant system.

All external plastics- trims were to be treated with a gtechniq C4 trim restorer to bring them back to life.

Exhaust tips were to be de coked and cleaned to remove as much staining as possible, then polished and sealed.

The next step was for the interior to look its best, we decided to go for a full air blow out followed by a vacuum, mats cleaned with our tornador system,full leather cleanse then a hydration feed system to bring back that great look and supple feeling, plastics uv protected, trims waxed,widows cleaned and polished.

Tyres were to be conditioned with a bespoke hydration- rejuvenation system.

Engine cleaned-dressed/waxed where applicable.

Headlights were to be polished to bring back clarity and shine.

Our latest indepth detail started as always with a consultation with our client,this was  to decide which options best suited there needs ie products procedures finished appearence etc.
After a brief meeting we decided to mix both Mitchell & King and Gtechniq products to create a superb hard wearing  stunning finish.
The detail was to comprise of aPH neutral wash & plush towel dry,Tar removal and clay bar,Full 3 stage paint correction,Crystal coating topped with our bespoke Mitchell & King wax,Wheel removal and armour coating,Tyres finished with bespoke hydration dressing ,Calipers crystal coated,Tail pipes cleaned and sealed,External plastics coated with permanent trim restorer,External windows cleaned/polished then finished with active rain repellant, Leather interior cleansed and fed, Internal plastics uv protected,Internal trims waxed,Carpets cleaned and mats tornador'd, Cabin fragranced.

This detail took in excess of 50 hours and the end results were simply stunning,Pleased to say the client was blown away by the look of his pride and joy

ALPINA B5 BMW

After several consultations with our client wondering weather to go for a full Gtechniq or a  Mitchell & King detail we came to the conclusion that the Gtechniq option ticked all the boxes for the clients needs ie low maintenance long lasting durability etc.
This detail comprised of Ph neutral wash,clay bar decontamination, Full 3 stage paint correction to remove marring and scratches in the paint, whilst using our paint depth gauge and 3M sun gun to constantly analyse the surface, making sure we never removed too much clearcoat but also as many defects as was possible.Ater this was completed the car was washed again and dryed using plush towels as to not introduce any fresh marring,the next steps were full body IPA wipe down to remove old compound's wax etc and re check the clarity of the paint before the Gtechniq C1 coating, Gtechniq C1 crystal coating applied then a 12 hour curing period,once cured correctly the vehicle was then coated twice with Gtechniq EXO v2 a super hydrophobic coating,wheels were non acidic cleaned and protected with Gtechnq c5 wheel armour and the tyres conditioned with Gtechniq T1 tyre and trim, all external plastics were treated with Gtechniq c4 permanent trim restorer.The glass was cleaned with Gtechniq G4 glass nano polish then  protected with G1 clear vision active rain repellant which has the capability to last up to 2 years. Last of all was a full interior vac,dash cleaned and conditioned ,all alpina composite panels were waxed and internal windows cleaned.
